When you are asked by someone to do an activity you are not interested in, you might say to them: "I'd rather watch paint dry."
Well a new event is taking place in London that offers people the chance to do exactly that.
The World Watching Paint Dry Championships are being organised for those who are interested in finding out just how interesting the pastime actually is.
Competitors do not have to be fit or do any specific training in order to get their bodies ready for the event and the organisers have said previous paint watching experience is not essential.
LocalTraders.com is behind the kooky undertaking and it said: "With England's recent performances on the football and rugby pitches most of us would prefer to watch paint dry anyway."
The real question is, who will have the endurance and strength to come out on top?
It sounds like it will be great fun and I reckon there will be some people who take it really seriously.
