Women could be overwhelmed with messages on online dating sites

Men have been told not to lose confidence when women do not reply to their messages on online dating sites, as it is not necessarily a reflection on what they have to offer.

A reader known only as Abby recently wrote to the Daily Journal to tell how a male friend had been struggling to secure a date.

Another user, writing under the username Settled Down In Illinois, replied to suggest ladies are likely to be "overwhelmed" with requests for their time on dating platforms.

She recalled her own experience prior to meeting her husband ten years ago, which included a day she left her home for a couple of hours and returned to find 75 messages waiting for her.

While Settled Down In Illinois attempted to reply to all of the messages, many girls will not, so men should not take it to heart if their communications are ignored by many people.
