Woman has phobia of toilets

A lot of the time, phobias can be quite irrational and leave people helpless in certain situations.

Ney Decino has a very unique fear, as she is scared of using the toilet.

The 20-year-old is worried that she will be sucked in by the lavatory and so runs away every time after flushing.

Her phobia dates back to watching the 1990 film Look Who's Talking Too, as there is an imaginary character in the movie called The Toilet Man that has sharp pointy teeth and seeks to help children with potty training.

"I flush the loo and then run out of the bathroom unless someone is with me. The sound of the water sends shivers down my spine," Ms Decino stated.

She admitted her worries are so severe that she only uses public toilets if it is an absolute emergency and in these cases a friend has to accompany her.
