Woman gets 35 carrot tattoos

People can become obsessed with some bizarre stuff, but Californian woman Zizi Howell is madder than most.

The woman has an addiction to carrots in all forms and it has seen her get 35 tattoos related to the vegetable and over 1,000 carrot-themed items for the home.

Such is her outlandish love for the foodstuff that she features on a US TV programme called My Crazy Obsession.

Ms Howell spends up to five hours a day sorting through her memorabilia, which includes wardrobes, fridge magnets, hair rollers, teapots and candles.

When quizzed about why she loves them so much, she responded: "I just want to have the most carrots in the world."

As the old saying goes, whatever makes her happy – but this is ridiculous.

Imagine what people must think when they step into her home, as it has got to look a bit freaky when all you can see is carrot-themed decorations.
