Woman falls and wakes up with egg on head

Of all the injuries that one may expect to sustain, getting a goose egg stuck in your head probably isn't one of them.

But yet that is exactly the situation that one woman found herself in, after an unfortunate encounter while she went jogging.

The whole incident has resulted in a Youtube video that you probably don't want to watch while eating your lunch.

Posting on YouTube, user JustinD explained that his sister fainted while she was on her daily exercise.

When she came to, it seems, she got a little more than she bargained for.

For as she fell, she had hit her head on a rock and then ended up with the enormous bump on her head.

The video shows the woman having the bump surgically removed from her forehead, which was drained with a syringe.

The 'egg' is thought to be slightly bigger than the size of a tennis ball. 

User JustinD wrote: "My little sister fainted while on a run, hit her head on a rock, and ended up with an enormous goose egg.

"Almost two weeks later, the bump was as big as ever, so she went to get it drained. This is the result.”

On the video, surgeons are seen slicing the woman's head open with a scalpel and squeezing out the congealed, black blood within.

Before and after pictures of the surgery showed that the operation was a success. The unfortunate woman had also had an injury to both eyes during the fall.

So far, the video has clocked up 164,000 views on Youtube.
