When it comes to life lessons, the fact that urinating on a beehive might seem like a bad idea would be one that most of us probably wouldn't have to learn the hard way. However, for a group of tourists in Vietnam, this is exactly what happened after their bus pulled over at the side of the road.

According to medics in the country, a bus carrying tourists pulled over at the side of the road on a long journey in the Quang Ngai province. At this point in time, 22 of the passengers took the opportunity to relieve themselves and their bladders.

Someone then apparently took it upon themselves to urinate on a beehive spotted nearby, and…well you can probably guess what happened. Reports of 22 people having been attacked by a swarm of angry bees have come out, with some of them having been stung in some quite unfortunate places.

Some of the passengers were stung so badly that they had to be taken to hospital. Three of them were even kept in overnight for observation by doctors, after they suffered seriously swollen body parts and high fevers, although all were released shortly after.

One of the victims of the attack said that one man in the party had apparently found it highly amusing to urinate on the bees nest. Somehow, we think he was probably less amused by the outcome of his actions a few second later, however.

Most of the group were stung on the hands and face by the bees after the attack continued onto the bus when they were followed after trying to seek cover in the vehicle. However, some complained that they had received injuries in far more delicate areas. Lesson learned? Probably. ADNFCR-2867-ID-801778411-ADNFCR
