Top-flight rugby league star Adrian Morley has shown his support for military charity Help for Heroes by visiting one of the group's recovery centres.

The Warrington Wolves captain took a few hours away from training to head to the Phoenix House facility in Catterick, where he joined a number of other rugby coaches and players for a tour of the buildings, reports the Warrington Guardian.

With several new buildings due to open in September, there is sure to be plenty to see at Phoenix House right now.

Morley said it was wonderful to be able to visit the centre and take a first-hand look at how Help for Heroes works to support injured servicemen and get them back on their feet.

"When we get injured, like I am currently, it's only for a few weeks, but for these guys it can be life-changing and so for them to have support is really vital," he stated.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801574828-ADNFCR
