War heroes may be swotting up before taking part in one of the nation's favourite quiz shows.

A live special edition of Who Wants to be a Millionare? is to be broadcast on November 9th, the Sun reports.

Two soldiers will be taking to the famous hotseats to win cash for the Poppy Appeal as a contribution to the Remembrance Day edition of the ITV1 programme.

Chris Tarrant is the famous host of the show and is known for putting participants on the spot with the line "Is that your final answer?".

According to the publication, a spokesman for the presenter said: "He rates the contribution made by our armed forces very highly."

It is not the only themed version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? to go out, as there will also be a Harry Potter special and an X Factor episode airing this year, the news source revealed.
