Vehicle left in place as car park is demolished

One driver will soon return to his motor in a Chinese car park to find it is the only thing left standing, after the rest of the facility was demolished.

Workers had been waiting for the owner of the car to return to it for ten days and, having lost their patience, opted to go ahead with the demolition despite the vehicle standing exactly where it had been left.

The white car has now been left on a cracked platform, while all around it lies only rubble and discarded bricks.

It poses a tricky situation for the owner when he or she finally comes back to the car, as it seems impossible to drive it to safety and back on to the road network.

Instead, it might be left to a crane or a similarly high-powered device to rescue the motor from its predicament and save the owner plenty of embarrassment.
