Help for Heroes has taken delivery of three new cars from Vauxhall, which it believes will support the good work it is doing in Wiltshire.

The new Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourers will be used by staff at the charity's Tedworth House recovery centre, reports Wiltshire Business.

Vauxhall's sponsorship marketing manager Cheryl Stibbs was on hand to present the cars to Tedworth House centre manager Giles Woodhouse recently.

Mr Woodhouse said: "The vehicles provided by Vauxhall will make a huge difference to the staff here at Tedworth House."

Help for Heroes workers will now be able to attend fundraising events and merchandising sales throughout the UK using the cars.

They will also assist with the daily running of the facility, which helps former servicemen get over their injuries and resume a normal everyday life.

Staff at the charity selected the model because of its good fuel efficiency and generous 1,550-litre total load volume.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801675331-ADNFCR
