Ultimate Tazer Ball leaves players in shock

I've seen some high-octane sports in my time, but nothing as crazy as Ultimate Tazer Ball.

The pastime sees people compete to score goals with a giant ball, but you can do more than tackle your opponent.

Everyone on the field has a Tazer gun and so those who are not quick enough while trying to net a goal are in for a shock.

While the electric charge handed out by the device is not as high as it could be – at eight milliamps of current – it will still hurt the competitors.

It's not completely crazy however, as only the person in control of the ball can be zapped.

The organisers have dubbed it as the future of sport, but I am not so sure it will catch on outside of the US.

I couldn't imagine Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo signing up for this, could you?
