US family stunned by 7ft KFC bucket in garden

A family in the US awoke to the surprise of their lives recently when they realised a seven-foot tall KFC bucket had been deposited in their front garden.

Aleena Headrick was stunned to see the bucket outside her front door and immediately called her sons to verify what she was witnessing.

The house in Waynesboro, Georgia, was the unlikely setting for the prank, and Ms Headrick admitted it was the last thing she expected to see upon leaving the house.

"We have dogs that would have barked, you know, if anybody was nearby. It was surprising that it's all of a sudden sitting in the corner of my front garden," she explained.

However, things did not end too badly for the family, as KFC immediately saw a PR opportunity and sent them some free chicken to tuck into, although it is not known if they used their bucket to eat it from.
