Single soldiers may not be used to the glamour and glitz of the fashion industry, but for one night only a number of troops took to the catwalk in aid of Help for Heroes.
The event was held at the Holiday Inn in Norwich and some 350 people turned up to watch eight servicemen from 2nd Para, the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reports.
Andrew Bailey, 21, took part in the show – which was organised by his mother Judy – and admits it was a scary prospect.
Fellow soldier Shaun Poll was also involved and says: "It's the first time I have ever done anything like this, but anything that helps raise money for our injured soldiers has got to be worth it."
Earlier this week, Help for Heroes announced it has almost hit a £100 million mark since it was created, with the website totaliser now standing at £99.585 million.
