Tenant finds secret dungeon in new flat

A tenant has revealed he spent time negotiating how much rent he would pay for a particular flat, only to find he got access to a whole lot more as part of the deal.

The unnamed man explained his story on Reddit, detailing how he moved into an apartment in an old English monastery conversion that now contains about 30 flats.

Upon moving in, he soon realised there was a secret dungeon with numerous rooms and corridors that are believed to date back to the 19th century.

"I have a tiny room on the ground floor. Got a great deal on the rent and didn't realise how much value I got until I moved in and found an area worthy of any movie-grade exploration," the individual is quoted by Metro as saying.

Sensibly, the new tenant decided to wait until one of his friends was on hand to help him explore the extremely creepy rooms below the house.
