Tamworth club night 'raises £500 for H4H'

Tamworth club night 'raises £500 for H4H'

Help for Heroes (H4H) has benefited to the tune of £500 after a special club night was held in Tamworth to provide financial support for the charity.

The H4H night was hosted last Saturday (February 2nd) at Vanity in Bolebridge Street, with many of the guests arriving in army uniform to show their backing.

In total, some £550.15 was raised for the good cause, with attendees asked to make a donation at the door, reports the Tamworth Herald.

Multi-instrumentalist and popular act Grand Master Ash was secured to play at the event, which may well have helped boost its profile and attract more people through the door.

It is more good news for H4H and all the money raised at the club night will be put towards providing help and support for soldiers who have been wounded in combat while serving the UK.

People can log on to Facebook to check out photographs of the event on the club's page.
