Student makes toasted sandwich in lecture

Images of a student making a toasted sandwich in the middle of a lecture theatre have become the latest online hit.

The young academic, who is said to attend the University of West Scotland, is seen in the shot pulling out a sandwich toaster before preparing a meal for him to enjoy during the class, reports Metro.

Twitter user Ross Milne posted the photograph and said: "So a guy has started using a George Foreman in my lecture."

Other pictures of the event showed the student cutting into his snack while shocked onlookers watched him tuck into the lunchtime treat.

He is even believed to have had a bottle of ketchup on hand to add its distinctive taste to the meal.

It is sure to have gone well with the cheese that the undergraduate had earlier been seen preparing in anticipation of the cookery session.
