Special theatre night to support Combat Stress

A number of nights of high-quality entertainment are due to be held at a Salisbury theatre over the course of this month.

Salisbury Playhouse is set to host a series of functions, including a concert by leading UK jazz vocalist Jacqui Dankworth, reports the Southern Daily Echo.

Another evening will see stage and screen legend Honor Blackman talk to Richard Digby Day about her many successes and life in general.

While there are plenty of dates to look forward to, one in particular is sure to be extremely special as proceeds will go towards supporting the Playhouse and military charity Combat Stress.

It is due to feature Martin Bell OBE, who has more than 50 years' experience as a BBC correspondent and will use this to talk about his experiences around the world.

That evening – on January 24th – will see funds donated to the good cause, which works to help those who leave the services with mental health issues.
