Simplyhealth has donated £1,500 to the Hampshire branch of national charity Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association Forces Help (SSAFA).
The money was raised after the healthcare provider held a dress down day.
Mark Day, spokesman for Simplyhealth's Andover Community Fund, noted the armed forces have a big presence in the local area so they are pleased to be able to help out SSAFA.
Richard Leighton, chairman of SSAFA Hampshire, said the donation was very generous, as the military charity helps around 1,500 veterans in the county every year.
"Simplyhealth's donation will help us to continue to offer practical, emotional and financial support to anyone with any connection, past or present, to the armed forces in the local area," he added.
Anyone who has served in the Army, Navy or RAF – as well as their families – can get access to financial, practical and emotional assistance through SSAFA.
