A host of youngsters from the south-west have done all they can to raise a significant amount of money for military charity Help for Heroes.
Members of the Taunton Scouts and Guides have handed over a cheque for £2,500 to the charity's south-west regional representative Richard Lupton, reports the Somerset County Gazette.
It has put on a series of shows over the last two years that have allowed it to collect the huge fund.
Dave Mullen, director of the Taunton Scout and Guide Gang Show, said: "It is quite an achievement and the money will help with running their rehabilitation centres. They have to raise millions of pounds every year just to keep things ticking over."
He added it is the most the group has ever managed to raise through its fundraising efforts.
Some tickets for the group's show at the Junction24 venue close to Bridgwater are still on sale.
