A special rugby tournament is to be held in memory of a man who was killed recently in a road accident, with the money raised set to be handed to Help for Heroes.

Chingford Rugby Union Club is hosting the event on Saturday (June 8th) following the death of club member Alex Concadoro, who had served in the military and been on three tours of Afghanistan, reports the East London and West Essex Guardian Series.

He was knocked from his motorbike and killed on the M25 in a tragic accident, and his fellow players now want to do something to mark the loss.

All of the money raised at the rugby tournament will go to Help for Heroes and Afghan Heroes, two military charities.

In addition to the three-team rugby competition, there will be a barbecue, a raffle and a bouncy castle to keep people of all ages entertained throughout the day.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801595517-ADNFCR
