Robbie Williams has become the latest big-name celebrity to offer his support to the Help for Heroes charity.

Despite being busy recording a new album with Take That, the singer has confirmed he will perform as a solo artist at the upcoming Heroes Concert – due to take place at the Twickenham rugby stadium next month.

Fans will be able to see the Angels star top a bill which will also feature JLS, The Stereophonics and Kasabian, the Sun has reported.

Furthermore, many more acts, including comedians and bands are also being lined up to perform at what will be the biggest charity concert since Live Earth.

Even those people not lucky enough to bag a ticket for the event will be able to follow all the action at home, with the BBC set to screen the three-hour show in its entirety.

Just last month, Rod Stewart announced his support for the Tickets for Troops campaign, with soldiers and their significant others given the chance to see the Scottish singer for free at a pair of concerts.
