Recycling group to work with Combat Stress

A new partnership between Combat Stress and the Recycling Factory has been set up to raise funds for the charity.

War veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress after leaving the services are helped by the good cause, but it needs cash to survive.

The Plymouth Herald has told how the Recycling Factory will make a donation for every inkjet or toner cartridge, mobile phone or electronic gadget recycled through it.

What's more, people are being given freepost envelopes and collection boxes to make it as easy as possible for them to recycle their goods.

This also means there is no cost for the charity when it comes to rolling out the scheme.

Combat Stress is currently working with in excess of 5,400 former servicemen and women who are suffering from a range of conditions, including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.
