The Royal British Legion (RBL) and the Ministry of Defence have come together to open the Battle Back Centre in Lilleshall.
Offering a series of adaptive sport and adventure training activities, it will treat injured servicemen and women.
Funded and operated by the RBL, it can look after up to 24 people on every course offered, while they are 16 rooms specially adapted for those who need wheelchair access.
Vice Admiral Peter Wilkinson, national president of the RBL, noted the aim of the centre is to help soldiers "make the best possible recovery and lead the best possible lives".
"We all owe them this. The RBL will be standing by them and their families for the rest of their lives," he added.
The building was opened by Beth Tweddle, Britain's greatest ever gymnast and a bronze medallist at the Olympic Games in London.
Tweddle stated the fantastic facility is great news for people who have served on the front line.
