A teacher is being investigated after telling pupils to go home and take pictures with their parents sex toys.

To the outrage of parents, kids were reportedly told they would get extra credits for participating in the bizarre homework assignment.

Reports have suggested that Wing-Wah Leung from Encinal High School, California, who set the task, has now been suspended.

The school claimed the assignment was set as a joke. However, not all parents are convinced – or amused.

One mum, Kimberly Cobene, said: "It was to go into your parents’ private drawers or whatever to seek out sexual toys or condoms, or anything of that nature and to take a selfie with it. If the school and the district doesn’t protect them, I will."

Another parent, Evangeline Garcia, heard about the assignment from a counsellor at an after school programme the children attend.

She said: "If the kids took it as a joke, then why did one kid take it serious and actually did the extra credit work, and was shown as an example in class?

"We don’t feel comfortable with our children in his presence. All they could tell us is that, ‘Oh, this is an HR issue.  It’s being investigated.’ They are not at liberty to tell me anything other than that.  It’s kinda [sic] been the runaround."

Administrators at the school have so far not come forward with any further details.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801790606-ADNFCR
