Customers at a pub in Essex will come together to use their combined pedal power to raise money for military charity Help for Heroes.
A group from The White Horse in Brentwood have decided to complete a 14-mile ride to Blackmore and back, and are hoping cyclists of all ages will join them, reports the Brentwood Gazette.
The trek has been organised by staff at the venue and will take place this Sunday (May 5th), with participants invited to meet at the pub at 10:00 BST for bacon rolls before setting off.
Martin Dansey, assistant event organiser for the Brentwood Festival and friend of pub owner Jason Jopson, said the establishment is well known for putting on events to raise money for the charity.
"It's a fun bike ride to raise money for Help for Heroes with optional fancy dress. It's a good family event which has been going on for about 12 years," he explained.
