Young footballers from Preston North End are to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.
The event is due to take place today (October 31st) in the Sir Tom Finney car park outside the club's Deepdale stadium.
Locals are advised that it will cost just £3 to have their car washed by the youngsters and all the money goes to the good cause.
It is less than two weeks until Remembrance Day, so it seems like a good time to raise funds for the charity.
The car wash forms part of the National Citizen Service (NCS) Social Action Project being undertaken by the players and will last for four hours, between 10:00 and 14:00 GMT.
NCS is a scheme open to all 16 and 17-year-olds in England and Northern Ireland and helps those involved to develop new skills and deal with challenges, as well as meet new people.
