Hot soldiers who were looking forward to seeing Crystal Harris on the cover of Playboy may be surprised to see some of the image will now be covered by a large sticker.
That is to hide text reading "Introducing Mrs Crystal Hefner", as the feature was set to mark the union between the playmate and Hugh Hefner, but the bride changed her mind this week and called off the marriage.
A lavish ceremony had been planned between the 85-year-old Playboy boss and his 25-year-old fiance, with the event due to occur this weekend (June 18th), but it was cancelled at the last minute.
Hefner wrote on his Twitter page: "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart."
This forced him to make a further announcement, stating: "Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands."
The Playboy boss recently opened a new club in London's Mayfair, which may be of interest to single soldiers and their pals.
