People ‘need to be ready’ for online dating

When deciding to try online dating, people need to make sure they are ready.

There is no point in individuals signing up for the service if they do not think they could embark on a relationship, even if they met their Mr or Mrs Right.

But the Sun Herald has unveiled some advice for single individuals looking to dip their toes in the dating world after a period away.

The paper said attitude is all important, as there is no point in being "mopey or melancholic" when looking at profiles.

People should also not be afraid to try out new experiences, as it is always a good idea to mix it up on first dates and not just stick to the tried and trusted option of going for a drink.

With Christmas fast approaching, individuals should take advantage of any mixers they are invited to, as these can be an excellent place to meet interesting members of the opposite sex.
