A number of people have taken part in a 52-mile walk in Scotland to collect cash for ABF The Soldiers' Charity.
The second annual Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp saw individuals make their way through Blairgowrie, Kirkmichael, Spittal of Glenshee and Kirkton of Glenisla in groups of between three and six people.
According to the Blairgowrie Advertiser, nearly 500 signed up for the challenge.
Bob Ellis, co-founder of the Cateran Trail, "The Yomp certainly isn't a walk in the park. The teams have to complete the gold event, which is 52 miles in 24 hours."
He added there was a good bit of entertainment along the route to keep people's spirits up, while food and drink was also offered to the plucky participants.
Blairgowrie Merchants Association president Kate Flemming was delighted to see the event return, as it raised so much money for good causes in 2011 and is sure to do the same this time around.
