Page Three girl doing her bit for Help for Heroes

A popular Page Three girl is in training for her part in an upcoming cycle ride that will take her from Paris to London.

Lacey Banghard has told the Sun her uncle is in Afghanistan at the moment, which means Help for Heroes is a charity very close to her heart.

As such, there was never any doubt that she would choose to complete the ride from France to England in aid of the movement.

"Having met a lot of soldiers at Help for Heroes events, I know if I keep them in mind while I'm struggling, they'll keep me going," Ms Banghard said.

In preparation for the gruelling task, she has already given up late nights, takeaways and a party lifestyle in order to get in shape.

In their place are gym sessions and healthy eating as the model aims to complete the lengthy trial known as the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2013.
