Online dating ‘turned me from Bridget Jones to Carrie Bradshaw’

Online dating has the potential to revolutionise people's love lives – as one woman from Bristol is proving.

Hannah Taylor, 37, has told the Bristol Post she has gone from being like Bridget Jones to living in a similar style to Carrie Bradshaw since signing up to an online dating site last April.

Whereas before she was desperately seeking a partner and not having much luck, she now enjoys dating and meeting new men on a regular basis until she finds the one.

Ms Taylor explained that she turned to online dating after being contacted by a television company about a show based on single women in their 30s.

"I felt a bit indignant. I didn't think I was doing anything wrong, but I was just not meeting people," she said.

Dating is now "very much part of my social life" and activity dates are among the very best of all, she noted.
