Single soldiers who are looking for love may find that they can meet a whole host of potential love matches on the internet, as one expert has suggested the medium is becoming an increasingly popular way for people to meet.
Joe Tracy, publisher of Online Dating Magazine, says: "Online dating is by now a preferred way for singles to find dates."
"Everybody knows someone who has done online dating, so people are less fearful to talk about it."
He states that there is no stigma attached to finding love on the internet, meaning that more people are open to the idea.
According to Daily Break News, new book 50 Foolproof Online Dating Strategies advises that many singletons feel that leading a busy life is holding them back from finding a partner.
It states that while trying to find love in a nightclub or bar may be relatively unsuccessful, heading on to the internet could give single soldiers the perfect opportunity to get to know a person properly.
