Online dating lets people find love ‘outside own circle’

Online dating now represents a "popular way to meet people outside your own circles".

This is according to blogger Anna Turner, who noted there is nothing wrong with using the medium to find Mr or Mrs Right.

Writing in the Press, she said many people already log on to the web to make their lives "easier in so many ways", so this may as well be extended to dating as well. 

"It's pretty convenient to be able to browse the potential meat market from the comfort of your own home," Ms Turner added.

She stated there is still a degree of awkwardness associated with internet dating, but this can quickly be overcome.

Indeed, if individuals want to be successful with the medium, then they should set out a series of personal guidelines for them to keep.

This means they will not spend too much time searching for potential partners on the web.
