Single soldiers who are registered with online dating websites and think that the quality of their profile picture does not matter may wish to think again.
That’s because one website has suggested that photogenic fellas and females will be the most favoured on internet dating sites.
The Zeitgeisty Report states: "Appearance is paramount to online success."
However, the site advises that adjusting your profile picture to hide a part of your body that you’re not happy with will never work.
Instead, single soldiers should embrace whatever physical shortcomings they may or may not have. For instance – if you are overweight, don’t attempt to crop your body out of the photo and the same goes for those who are losing their hair. Covering up these physical flaws could may only make the situation awkward when you meet a potential partner in a face-to-face situation.
Diana Vilbert, writing for The Frisky, recently advised that singletons should steer clear of describing themselves as "just an average guy", as it makes them sound uninteresting.
