People can find love through online dating sites if the experience of one woman is anything to go by.
Michelle Maslin has told the Irish Examiner about how she found her perfect partner on the web and so army penpals should keep looking.
After meeting her future husband Paul five-and-a-half years ago, the couple tied the knot in April of this year.
"We both fancied each other from [the] beginning so that first meeting in the flesh does really tell you whether there is chemistry between you or not," Ms Maslin observed.
She added Paul was exactly how he had described himself in his profile – a tall, dark and handsome Australian.
According to the new provider, some 500,000 singletons in the country have taken to their computers in an effort to find love.
Those who are new to online dating may want to speak to people on the phone before deciding whether or not to meet them.
