People looking for love on the web are willing to date people out of their age range.

That's if recently released statistics are anything to go by, as they show that 32 per cent of people would go out with someone who is up to ten years older than they are.

Some 31.5 per cent admitted they would only meet up with individuals who were at most five years older and 6.5 per cent said 15 years was their maximum limit.

On top of this, the other 30 per cent revealed they would be happy to arrange a date with anyone – regardless of their age – if they thought there was a connection.

Men were also more likely to agree to see someone of any age when compared with their female counterparts.

Individuals who are meeting for the first time should be totally honest, as lying at the start of a relationship will eventually come back to haunt them.
