Single soldiers may feel that their busy lives are holding them back from finding love.

But there is a simple solution to this – head online, Daily Break News states.

Citing the advice of new book 50 Foolproof Online Dating Strategies, the publication says that the chances of meeting the love of your life through work or on a Saturday night on the town are relatively low, so heading on to the internet could give you the perfect chance to let you get to know a person properly.

"Hectic work schedules and an increasing lack of personal human interaction has caused us to become more isolated from one-another than even 20 years ago," it suggests.

Meeting a partner online has now been proven to have a more successful outcome than searching for love in a social situation.

Research by Chadwick Martin Bailey recently found that 17 per cent of couples met their significant other online, in comparison to 11 per cent who met while in a bar or nightclub.
