Nina Dobrev: I like older men

The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev has admitted she likes to be challenged when in a relationship.

The 23-year-old told Fashion Magazine that this typically sees her go out with older men, such as her co-star Ian Somerhalder.

While she may not struggle for potential suitors, Dobrev could try online dating if she needs help finding her perfect man.

She enjoys the fact that males in their 30s will have a different type of knowledge to her, which will ultimately lead to more interesting conversations.

"I feel like when I'm with someone who's older than me they have a certain amount of experience in life. There's a maturity," the TV star stated.

Dobrev, who has also starred in the films Chloe and Never Cry Werewolf, may enjoy the anonymity offered by online dating, as she could get to know someone through email and over the phone before having to meet them in person.
