New vending machine dispenses hot French fries

Hungry Belgians have been given a brand new dining option in the form of a vending machine that dispenses hot chips in just 90 seconds.

Customers will only have to pay €2.50 (£2.13) to enjoy the culinary delight, with the chips cooked in beef fat within the machine.

BreakTime Solutions has come up with the device and it has now been installed close to a supermarket in central Brussels.

The company's distributor Tuline Bey said: "At a later stage, we plan to offer machines with two deep fryers that would enable us to cook croquettes, such as nuggets."

It provides members of the public with a new option when it comes to securing hot food on the go, and guarantees their wait will only amount to less than two minutes per transaction.

Experts are now waiting to see how the vending machine performs before deciding whether to roll it out in other nations across Europe.
