Wives and girlfriends of troops serving in the armed forces have put together a book that aims to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The publication, entitled Daffodil Girls, is based on the ladies' experiences as their partners were out on duty, the Western Mail reports.
One of the contributors, Kirsty Large from Pembrokeshire, was five months pregnant as her husband headed to Afghanistan and says: "It was a horrible, horrible feeling seeing him go and then worrying about what will happen when he's out there."
Ms Large and 11 other so-called Daffodil Girls met with each other to provide support and went on to create the book to share their stories.
Royalties from the sale of the publication will be contributed to Help for Heroes, which was set up in 2007 by Bryn and Emma Parry to assist wounded servicemen and women returning from tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
