A man in New York has launched an advert for an 'online dating surrogate' to analyse and review all of his matches on web-based dating platforms.

The individual, who is said to be based in the Flatiron district of the Big Apple, wants a "pretty, thin and educated" woman to work for an hour each day looking at profiles from up to four sites, reports the Daily Mail.

Every woman who meets the businessman's criteria will be shortlisted by the candidate, and he will be free to go ahead with dates.

But only once the surrogate has corresponded with the potential matches and put in the groundwork that will eventually lead to dates being arranged.

The advert has been posted on Craigslist and asks candidates to submit a CV, a photograph and a lengthy letter that can be used to assess their writing ability.

Of course, not everyone has the ability to hire an employee to assess their online dates, but doing so by yourself can be great fun and rewarding.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801582838-ADNFCR
