Sometimes animals in the wild are so desperate to get food they will resort to extreme measures.

However, goats in Morocco seem to take their quest for nourishment further than others.

Photographer Gavin Oliver was near the Todra Gorge – which is a stunning canyon in the Atlas Mountains – when he saw around 30 of the animals climbing one argan tree in search of the fruit at the top.

"The tree branches were bobbing up and down under the weight of the goats every time they moved," Mr Oliver stated.

He noted he had to look at the scene for a while before it sunk in what he was seeing.

It is thought to be common for goats in this part of the world to scale trees in search of tasty treats.

One thing's for sure though, it's unbelievable that none of the animals get injured, as they are climbing on branches that are very flimsy looking.
