Famous people from Ben Fogle to Andy McNab have recently been announced as ambassadors for the Invictus Games.

Boxer Ricky Hatton, sprinter Iwan Thomas, skeleton racer Lizzy Yarnold and singer Laura Wright are also among those supporting the Games, according to organisers.

The services-themed sporting event was launched in early 2014 by Prince Harry. It will see injured, wounded and sick service people taking part in a series of sports.

The Ministry of Defence and The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are among the occasion's supporters.

Taking place from September 10th to 14th, the event will feature 400 competitors who are competing in London from 14 different countries.

The recently announced ambassadors for the Games are part of a wider group of celebrity supporters including people like Daniel Craig, Joanna Lumley and Will.i.am.

Ben Fogle has recently taken a visit to a British Invictus Games sitting volleyball team selection camp.

“I had the privilege to see the British Armed Forces team in action at last year’s Warrior Games in Colorado and ever since then have followed the development of the sitting volleyball team with interest," he said, according to the Invictus Games website.

He said he is confident Britain is putting a strong sitting volleyball team forward for the Invictus Games and the chances that it will win a medal are good.

One feature of the Games will be a Closing Concert which Foo Fighters are set to headline. Famed for tracks like This is a Call and All My Life, the gig will be Foo Fighters' sole live show in the UK for 2014.

The concert will be happening on September 14th and also features music stars like Can We Dance band The Vamps, Kaiser Chiefs and Ellie Goulding.

You're Beautiful singer James Blunt, Ryan Adams and Rizzle Kicks are going to be there, as are the Military Wives Choirs and Britain's Got Talent winners, dance troupe Diversity.

It comes after Blunt, who is also known for tracks like 1973 and Goodbye My Lover, performs at Doncaster Racecourse on August 16th.

According to Help for Heroes, people can buy a Patrons Package to take in racing and the concert that day, with the price including a Help for Heroes donation.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801740315-ADNFCR
