An 83-year-old fundraiser is hoping to generate funds for Help for Heroes (H4H) by selling off military-related merchandise.
Richard Burton of Sywell – who has already collected £260,000 for leukemia charities – is offloading a new range of fridge magnets and keyrings that feature armed forces images such as the Vulcan and Spitfire aircrafts, the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph reports.
The products, which have appeared in the magazine Britain at War, also include logos of the Northamptonshire Regiment and the Royal Anglian Regiment.
Mr Burton explained he carried out his military service duties as a young man in Kenya, adding his items would be ideal for those who have served in a particular regiment and desire a keepsake.
He said the pieces have proven very popular so far, adding: "It appeals to the people who have got friends and relatives in the present day armed forces and to the tens of thousands that have served in the armed forces."
