Men ‘notice eyes, smile and breasts first in women’

Whether you are a man or a woman, you should be aware that there are certain physical features that the other sex will look for before almost anything else.

New research by Murine eye drops has found that men are typically drawn to the eyes, smile and breasts of women they meet. As many as 70 per cent of respondents to the study said it is the eyes that draw them in to any female, while hair and weight are also factors that are considered priorities.

For ladies, eyes were also the clincher, with more respondents naming this as what they look for first in a man. They also suggested that a smile, height, hair and dress sense are important things to look out for and among the initial observations they make.

A spokesperson for Murine said: "Until you get to talk to a person for the first time, all you have to go on is the way they look, a simple smile is also something that both genders notice in each other. It goes to show that men and women are more alike than many would previously had thought."

Those of you who are keen to meet someone new may be wise to turn to online dating over the months ahead, as it has become one of the most common ways to find a partner.
