Spice Girl Mel B has given female soldiers some added workout tips to help them achieve a body as toned as hers.

Scary Spice told the Sun that the main factors in her exercise routine are the treadmill and some light weights, which help her stay in shape and look good.

"I have a gym at home and work out for 90 minutes daily, on my own or with my husband or friends. I start off on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I walk on an incline for two minutes then sprint for three," she said.

Mel also told the newspaper that following a good diet with plenty of protein and eating fruit and carrots instead of unhealthy snacks leaves looking and feeling great.

Meanwhile, personal trainer Nick Dunn recently gave the Daily Telegraph’s Gary King an outdoor workout and pointed out that exercising in the fresh air can be just as good as pumping iron in a gym.
