Mansfield shopping centre hosting Help for Heroes cake sale

Help for Heroes stands to gain from a cake sale that is due to be held in a shopping centre in Mansfield this weekend.

The Four Seasons complex in the town will host a special cake sale on Saturday (April 27th), with all the proceeds going to the military charity, reports the Mansfield Chad.

It is part of the Colossal Cake Sale scheme that is being run across the country, which will see a number of similar events held at various venues from Cornwall to Scotland.

Rebekah O'Neill, centre manager at Four Seasons, said: "We are always looking for ways we can support charities and the Colossal Cake Sale is a great way for people to offer support in a number of different ways."

As well as the opportunity to buy cakes, shoppers will have a chance to meet and pose for photographs with Help for Heroes' official mascot, Army Bear.
