A man and his friends are to visit all 92 football league grounds in England and Wales as well as Wembley Stadium in a bid to raise money for charity.

Simon Cox and his three pals will join forces between October 11th and 15th to complete the 2,600-mile round trip in the name of Help for Heroes, reports the Northampton Herald & Post.

The charity was an easy choice as the beneficiary of the challenge, as three members of the group are former military personnel.

Mr Cox explained: "Everything is going well and we are all ready to go. We have changed our route slightly and are having a lot of support from the football clubs we are visiting."

His Twitter account has so far attracted about 4,200 followers, so plenty of people are aware of the football-themed challenge being undertaken by Mr Cox and his three friends next month.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801640931-ADNFCR
