Man finds snake inside ATM

When using a bank machine, individuals generally expect to see nothing out of the ordinary.

However, a man is Spain got the shock of his life whenever a snake emerged from the ATM he was using.

Although it sounds like the storyline to a bad movie, the male was left shocked and disturbed after the serpent crawled out.

Eventually the police were called in to try and deal with the situation and video footage shows an officer trying to capture the animal using a baton.

The startling sequence of events took place in the northern Basque region, although this story does have a happy ending.

As well as the man successfully withdrawing his money, the snake was also taken to an animal shelter to ensure it is well looked after.

The guy who found the serpent was lucky in my books, as the situation could have easily turned out much worse and resulted in him being bitten.
