A link-up between Lonsdale and the Royal British Legion has been announced.

It will see the development of a clothing line and the proceeds from the sales will help armed forces charities.

The limited edition apparel will focus on a nationalistic colour scheme and feature a British Armed Forces logo.

"Whether you're boxing, running or lounging this collection of sweatshirts, hoodies and t-shirts is ideal for any sports enthusiasts' wardrobe and gym bag," according to SportsDirect.com, which will be selling the garments.

Part of the reason for the unveiling is because November 11th is the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion.

As well as this, the organisation recently launched a recruitment drive for Poppy Appeal volunteers, which is still the primary method of raising funds for the organisation.

Musician Laura Rose backed the initiative, saying those who take part will be supporting the men and women who "bravely serve our country" in foreign land.
